Susan Evans, Master Gardener & Herbalist teaches a variety of classes and workshops throughout the Denver-Metro area including cooking classes, gardening classes, medicinal herb education, and home & body essentials. Below you will find her current schedule of events. In addition, she is available to facilitate and instruct private lectures, gardening demonstrations, and workshops for groups, businesses or organizations. Lavender Fest, Cooking with Lavender

This class will be held during Lavender Fest at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farm location. Come enjoy a full day of music, garden tours, and all things lavender.
Learn how to use this aromatic herb in everything from desserts to cocktails, infused salts and sugars, vinegar, and sauces. Discover how to keep your dishes from tasting like a bowl of potpourri. Take home a sample of Herbes de Provence seasoning blend to get you started and snack on some delicious lavender shortbread cookies and lavender lemonade while we explore the culinary uses of this lovely plant.
