Susan Evans, Master Gardener & Herbalist teaches a variety of classes and workshops throughout the Denver-Metro area including cooking classes, gardening classes, medicinal herb education, and home & body essentials. Below you will find her current schedule of events. In addition, she is available to facilitate and instruct private lectures, gardening demonstrations, and workshops for groups, businesses or organizations. Public and private classes can be combined or custom-tailored to fit your interests. Other educational opportunities include Wild Herb and Edible Plant Walks, and Workshops & Retreats.

Farm to Fork – Enjoying Nature’s Bounty

Join Susan Evans on the farm to learn how to utlize those abundant fresh veggies this summer. Class takes place on the rustic and historic Hildebrand Ranch property of Chatfield Farms where participants are surrounded the beautiful CSA fields, the cut flower garden, herb garden, chickens, goats and resident pigs. The outdoor kitchen at Chatfield Farms makes for the perfect summer class location!
In a rut with your fresh veggies and fruits? Learn new ways to savor the flavor of delicious, nutrient-packed food from your garden and Farmers Market. We’ll create and sample scrumptious, easy dishes and discuss tips for best selection and home storage. Recipes and three course, vegetarian lunch provided.
